NorthStar Studioz is an independent mixed reality game studio and Meta Quest developer based in Mumbai, India. Founded in October 2026, it makes hand-tracked games for Meta Quest 3 and Quest 3S that you play on the real furniture in your room.

What we make
Mixed reality games that use your own room as the level. The headset’s passthrough keeps your surroundings in view, and the game builds on your real table, floor and walls. You play with your bare hands: pinch, grab, twist and let go. Controllers still work, but you won’t need them.
Everything happens within arm’s reach, with no artificial movement, so the games stay comfortable for first-timers and for long sessions. They run on the headset itself, with no PC required.
Who’s behind it
Vikas Sahani founded NorthStar Studioz and builds its games. He works professionally in finance and has a lifelong passion for games and new technology. He started by building side projects and publishing Android apps; NorthStar Studioz is his move into virtual and mixed reality on Meta Horizon OS.
Where things stand
- October 2026: the studio is founded and this website goes live.
- Now: the first game is in development. Its name, details and release date stay confidential until it is announced, and the announcement will appear on this site first.
